From an Energetic point of You
I sit on the beach, my bare feet buried deep in the dark, brown sand. A light, tickling sensation comes from the breeze over the Arabian Sea, brushing against the long dark hairs on my lower legs. The sun is quickly setting over the ocean, eager to awaken the other half of the world to a new day.
“Everything is energy, and energy is everything,” I think to myself, as I often do in moments of calm and sweet solitude. Years of reflection and contemplation have led me to come closer to grasp the true meaning of this statement and to harness its power and magic in the name of self-love, finding balance and as a practitioner supporting my clients.

In essence, it means that everything in the universe, visible or invisible, is made of energy. Objects, thoughts, and even feelings are forms of energy—the word ‘emotion’ comes from ‘energy in motion.’ Energy cannot be created or destroyed; it only changes form. We are all part of this endless energy transformation, which is why self-growth and healing are often seen as transformations. We transform one behavior into another, turn inaction into action, and shift low-vibration emotions into high-vibration emotions.
Instead of viewing decisions and behaviours as ‘good or bad’ , we look at them from a high or low vibration point of view, an energetic point of view.
‘Dis-ease and pain’ becomes ‘imbalance and over/under energy.’
Mindset such as; ‘I am a broken person and I need to be fixed’ shifts into; ‘I am a whole person out of balance.’
When we let go of terms like ‘good and bad,’ the overwhelming feelings of self-loathing, guilt, and shame get the permission to diminish. ‘Shifting’ is gentler than ‘eliminating,’ similar to the martial arts principle of meeting force with flow. Instead of resisting or blocking an enemy’s force, we smoothly redirect it, like water flowing around a rock.
Can we meet our darkness with light shining from awareness instead of resisting it?
Can we grow from our darkness, like a Frangipani tree absorbing its nutrients from the darkness of the soil and turning it into the sweetest scented flower?
Can we transform fear into love through understanding?
We can - and our bodies hold the answers. All we have to do is tune in and listen.
Frangipani Tree
An eagle soars across the sky, breaking the waves of endless thoughts in my mind. I lift my gaze to admire its soft, gliding flight across the sky. My childlike imagination make the sky look like an ancient papyrus sheet with its rough texture; the uneven surface of the clouds, combined with their light tan beige color. In the near distance, I hear the deep rumble of thunder, like an empty belly yearning for food. Moments later, lightning strikes through the tan coloured sky in an elegant, flowing manner—God’s cursive signature with a silver pen.
Without thinking, I sign my name, Tove Love, in cursive in the wet sand, using my finger as a pen. Moments later, a wave washes over, taking my signature with it. But that is okay; a contract has been signed—a contract I renew every day, a promise I make to myself each morning since leaving my binge drinking days behind. To live my life with purpose and meaning, and to inspire my fellow human beings to do the same, to make choices from and live a life from the highest vibration of all no matter what; Love.
